The Jinn's eye
Two Worlds in the Rain

Every monsoon in my hometown in Kerala, the world is transformed. The familiar lines of the landscape blur behind a curtain of rain, and the ordinary world feels thin, as if another, older reality is about to press through. It was during one of these long, grey afternoons that the idea for this story was born: what if there were a way to simply look through that curtain?
This novel is an exploration of that "what if." It is a story about the unseen worlds that coexist with our own, separated only by the limits of our perception. It is also a story about the nature of good intentions. We often believe that acts of kindness and pity are purely positive forces, but what if they could be used as a key to unlock something terrible? What is the true cost of a compassionate act when its consequences are monstrous?
"The Jinn's Eye" is a work of fiction, a journey into a world of ancient magic, mad science, and terrifying consequences. But the questions it asks are real. It is a story for anyone who has ever looked out at a familiar landscape and felt the profound, unsettling certainty that there is more there than meets the eye.
