Pinecroft's Maddening Song

 Pinecroft's Maddening Song, tells the story of Arthur Finch, an ornithologist who travels to a remote Himalayan house called Pinecroft to recover his health . Instead of peace, he finds an unnatural silence and a strange, maddening "hum" that the locals call a "sickness".

As a man of science, Arthur tries to find a logical cause, but his world shatters when he discovers the haunting is real. It stems from two sources: the curse of a betrayed weaver named Anaya , and the "old anger" of the land itself, tied to a brutal, covered-up massacre led by the house's builder, Colonel Abernathy .

Arthur must team up with a Catholic priest, Father Michael , and a young local girl with second sight, Leela . He finds himself in a deadly race against Julian Blackwood, a ruthless agent who believes the haunting is a valuable, weaponizable resource to be stolen and controlled . Trapped in the house, Arthur must confront his own family's dark past in the cover-up and embrace a world of faith and ritual  to separate the two evils before they consume everyone.
